Business Description Skycraft Designs Studio was founded in 1970 by Peggy Skycraft. Since 1980 Peggy's husband, Jack Townes, has been a part of production and and marketing the marbled and other decorative papers from their studio in Oregon. Available stock consists of one of a kind items and small editions of matched sheets. These offer some of the most innovative design in the world today. Special order designs and custom colored editions can be made of any style of Skycraft papers.
Product Description We have made many editions for interior designers, for wall treatments, for picture framers, and of course, for binding limited edition books. The largest edition to date has been 2000 combed marbled papers for a high end book edition.These are handmade papers, NOT printed or machine made papers. When you see them you may think "these are so perfect, surely they are printed." Not so. Every single sheet is hand painted or patterned by Peggy Skycraft or Jack Townes, using some very complex specialty techniques all done with custom mixed wet paints.
